Donegal DK is a luxuriously soft double knitting yarn, made with 87% Wool and 13% Donegal Viscose. The yarn is spun with plant-based multi-coloured viscose neps that don’t take on the dye through the dyeing process, so you are able to produce beautifully dyed, tweed-effect yarn with lovely coloured flecks throughout. The wool used in this yarn is from South America where mulesing is not practiced.
