Premium Silk Sock yarn is a high quality blend of 21 micron superwash merino wool, 20% silk and 20% nylon, with a count of 4/17. The merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable.
A fine and smooth sock yarn, the silk content makes it beautifully soft, glossy and temperature balancing. The knitted fibre has a wonderful elasticity, while also keeping its shape well.
The yarn is perfect for socks but can equally can be knitted into scarves, shawls and accessories which will feel soft and silky next to the skin.
