Superwash Merino Aran has a simple construction of 2/3.5nm giving 175m (191 yds) per 100g hank. Its made with 100% superwashed merino meaning the yarn has been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable. Therefore it is a great yarn for an easy-care garment. We have used soft 21 micron merino in the yarn which is not itchy or scratchy next to the skin. The wool is mulesing free and comes from South America.
